Messy Max

Ben's gone this week training at Lake Powell, so I'm going to try and catch up a little with everything that's been happening around here.

This weekend Ben and I got an amazing high-chair. We weren't planning on getting a big one, but this new one was 40% off, so we couldn't help but get it. Yesterday Max got to try it out. It was seriously so cute. I was feeding him and he just kept smiling, so I had to run and grab the camera to take some cute shots of him.

He actually did pretty well for his first attempt. However, his face, hands, and bib were covered with food by the end of the meal.

Graduation

BEN GRADUATED!! YAY!! On Thursday Ben graduated from POST (Police Academy) and on Friday from BYU with his Master's. It was a pretty crazy weekend! Ben's parents got to come down and celebrate with us. It was fun to spend some time with them. The POST graduation was pretty fun. All the police were dressed up in their uniforms and looked to professional. Ben helped with the flag presentation. It was pretty funny, since he was so serious during it. The BYU graduation was pretty boring and long. Max got hunger, or was crying for most of the time. I think I ran up the stairs about four times in the Marriot Center trying to get out before Max started screaming. I got my exercise in!! :-) Ben graduated though and we are proud of him!! It's finally nice to be done of that part of life. We are going to be moving in two weeks down to Orangeville, UT.

Tomorrow

After four months of being clueless of where we are going to be moving in April, tomorrow we are going to find out. We are both extremely excited to hear the news. The options that we have heard about are Emery, San Juan, and Kane County in Utah. All are basically out in the middle of nowhere. Where ever we go, it should be a fun few years.

BEN IS GOING TO GRADUATE IN APRIL!!!!!!

WOW 2 months already!!

Max had his 2 month check-up yesterday. He currently weight 10lbs. 11oz. and is 23 inches long!! He's in the 25-50 percentile for both of them. The doctor said that he is gaining weight just fine now, and that I should keep doing what I'm doing. I stopped breast-feeding him...I couldn't do it anymore. Maxwell also got his shots, 3 big ones right in his thighs. I felt bad for him. When the nurse gave him his first shot, I think he held his breathe for 15 seconds, turned bright red, and then let out a huge cry/scream. Poor little guy he cried more for the shots than he did for his circumcision.

Today I tried to get a picture of Max smiling. He's been getting better at it everyday. This was as good as I could do. You can totally see his little dimple though. He's adorable.

New Year's Eve

We had a great New Year's Eve this year. Peter knows how to throw a party. It was really fun to celebrate it with lots of family around. Adam's family came up from Vegas and my mom was here to see Max. Maxwell got to experience his first pizza making contest. He actually slept through most of it. Hewas even partially awake for the New Year's Even bang.
